- 40D Shutter Count. I am thinking of selling my 40D but I am on the fence. I hate to charge someone money for it and have it die within 1000 shutter clicks. I've tried a few different pieces of software in the past to try to get a count on it and so far no luck. It was refurbished and I am pretty sure I've reset the image count a couple times.
